First, a quick overview about Jenny and why she deserves this celebration:

Jenny is a 29 year old native of the Atlanta area (she lives in Mableton with her husband, Rhett, and two weimaraners). Her mother died of breast cancer when Jenny was a child. At age 27 Jenny was diagnosed with breast cancer. Within the past 2 years Jenny's life has been under more stress than she could have ever dreamed: she has undergone chemotherapy and radiation, been placed on countless drugs with uncomfortable and sometimes painful side effect, losing her long blonde hair, energy and vitality. She has had countless surgeries, including a double mastectomy and the removal of her ovaries, rendering her unable to have children of her own. Her final surgery was just completed on May 22, 2009. We are praying that she has no more...

I am Katy, one of her many friends who have been touched by Jenny's joy and courage throughout her challenging circumstances. I am planning a gala in Jenny's honor "Celebrate Jenny" ...but need your help to give her the party she truly deserves.

What we need:

- a hotel ballroom to accommodate at least 100 people

- a DJ

- a salon package for Jenny to have her hair and nails done pre-party

- a financial donation of whatever you can ($5, $10, $100, $1000) to help us pay for food and beverage

- and finally, your help by donating your services if you are able to meet one of the needs

The "Celebrate Jenny" Gala will be given media attention from outlets within the Atlanta area. If you are a media contact, we need your voice to help us get the items listed above. Your thoughtful gift will make a huge impact in Jenny's life, especially right now, and in turn you will be listed as a donor in every article written, as well as on this website.
